Chinese Ambassador at FSSH MBU

On Friday evening (December 13, 2024), representatives of the FSSH MBU, Dean Prof. Martin Pupiš and Vice Dean Dr. Vladimír Franek, welcomed a delegation led by Chinese Ambassador Cai Ge. The Chinese representatives discussed potential joint projects in the field of education, with particular interest in fostering scientific collaboration. Given China’s leadership in research and innovation, such cooperation presents significant opportunities for FSSH MBU.

In the near future, a promising partnership with Henan University is on the horizon. Henan University boasts a rich history and a strong foundation in training sports professionals. Additionally, regional cooperation plans include establishing a base for the development of kung fu in collaboration with the Shaolin Cultural Center of Slovakia, which has a robust presence in nearby Brezno.

This collaboration opens doors for student exchange programs, joint degree programs, and connections to research objectives, creating a strong foundation for education in sports sciences. Such initiatives allow students to participate in international internships and enable universities to design academic programs that align with shared research goals.

This visit follows last week’s meeting between Prof. Martin Pupiš and French Honorary Consul Grégory Delton, marking another significant diplomatic engagement for FSSH MBU.

FSSH MBU is the place where dreams come true and new visions are realized.
