"Trilogy" of International Scientific Conferences and Accompanying Events

On December 5–6, 2024, the Sports Science and Health MBU hosted the international scientific conferences Athletics 2024, Strength and Conditioning Training in 2024, and Swimming 2024. During these events, Slovak, Czech, and Polish researchers, as well as industry professionals, presented the latest findings through more than 50 contributions.

In addition to the scientific conferences, a roundtable discussion on coach education was held, attended by deans of Czech and Slovak faculties of physical education: Prof. Martin Pupiš (Dean of Sports Science and Health MBU), Viktor Bielik (Dean of Faculty of Physical Education and Sports Comenius University in Bratislava), Assoc. Prof. Pavel Ružbarský (Dean of Faculty of Sports University of Presov), Assoc. Prof. Miroslav Petr (Dean of Faculty of Physical Education and Sport Charles University Prague), Dr. Jan Cacek (Dean of Faculty of Sports Studies MU, Brno), Dr. Žaneta Csáderová (Director of ADA SR), and Dr. Monika Šišková (and colleagues) from the Department of Education, Innovations, and Cross-Sector Activities at the Ministry of Education, Science, Research, and Sport of the Slovak Republic. Representing FSSH MBU were Vice Dean Dr. Juraj Kremnický and the guarantor of master's level coaching education, Prof. Ivan Čillík.

Additionally, the first full-scale meeting of the Scientific Board of FSSH MBU took place. As part of the program of invited lectures, the Rector of MBU, Assoc. Prof. Ing. Vladimír Hiadlovský, PhD., congratulated the winners of the Slovak Summer University Games.
